KNIVES

In 99.99% of all cases, it is illegal to have even the smallest knife in a public place, if it has a fixed OR LOCKING blade.  That is so, even if you do not carry the knife on you, but perhaps keep it in a vehicle.  The only knife that you can have in a public place without committing an offence is a folding knife that cannot be locked open, and even then the blade must be no more than 3 inches long.
